Atlas Fallen, Crash N.Sane Trilogy, Mafia and more join Game Pass in August

Most of the games were previously leaked, but now we have specific dates.

Deck13's Action RPG Atlas Fallen will arrive on Microsoft's subscription service on August 13, exactly one week after the launch of the Reign of Sand update, which aims to vastly improve the game with new voice acting, areas, enemies, Essence Stones, a New Game Plus mode, and quality-of-life enhancements.

Activision Blizzard's Crash N.Sane Trilogy was also rumored to join Game Pass. According to extas1s, the remastered collection of the beloved platform franchise will be available on the subscription service starting Thursday, August 8.

Five days later, Game Pass subscribers will get Mafia Definitive Edition, the remake of the classic open-world game that began the franchise. 2K has since confirmed this previous rumor, making this addition official.

These are the biggest new games coming in August, but there's more on the way.

The wave begins on August 6 with SOPA - Tale of the Stolen Potato, an indie adventure game set in South America. The following day, Game Pass users will get to play Creatures of Ava, a creature-saving game where players traverse an alien planet, solving environmental challenges and rescuing native creatures from an infection called 'withering.'

On August 15, the leaked schedule indicates that the subscription service will be updated with Wargroove 2, Chucklefish's acclaimed turn-based tactics sequel released in October 2023. Lastly, Core Keeper by Pugstorm will be added on Tuesday, August 27. Core Keeper is a 'mining sandbox adventure' game released in March 2022 via early access. It is set in a procedurally generated underground world, borrowing mechanics from games like Stardew Valley, Terraria, and Minecraft.
