MISSING ALGS TROPHY FOUND: TEAM SINGULARITY STILL WAITING TO RECEIVE IT

Despite clinching the prestigious title, the team had never received their award, sparking concerns and confusion within the community.

The event, originally planned as a global LAN, was held online due to the emergence of the Omicron variant.

Despite these challenging circumstances, Team Singularity triumphed and brought glory to the South American region, a significant part of the ALGS circuit with its own dedicated playoffs.

However, unlike their counterparts in EMEA, North America, and both APAC regions, Team Singularity never saw their hard-earned trophy. This discrepancy puzzled fans and team members alike, who were unaware of the trophy's fate until now.

The missing trophy has surfaced under rather unusual circumstances.

Due to international shipping issues such as customs, fees, and incorrect labelling, the trophy had been stopped in transit and left unclaimed, eventually making its way to auction.

Such mystery packages are often sold at low prices and resold for profit, with buyers sometimes finding unexpectedly valuable items within.

The current holder of the trophy revealed in a video statement, tagging team member Besk9, that they had purchased the trophy as part of a batch of unopened parcels from the federal police.

Besk9 confirmed on Reddit that the trophy had been stopped at customs due to missing information.

The holder has expressed a desire to sell the trophy back to Team Singularity, presenting a bittersweet resolution to the saga.

Unless the current owner decides otherwise, the team will need to pay to reclaim their trophy and finally enjoy the recognition they deserve for their victory in the 2022 South America ALGS Split 1 Playoffs.
